ran another QA-test of same ISO on dell [optiplex] 755 (c2d-e6850, 5gb, amd/ati radeon rv516/x1300/x1550) i suspended system twice; it resumed as expected. I could not re-create it (using 'radeon' driver which fits @Theo's notation too)
