Hello Chris, I have tweaked my Xubuntu 7:04 quite a lot. I have a tweaked kernel so my sound works after hibernating, special settings to make my network funtion after hibernate, and some more stuf. I decided not to upgrade to 7.10 for this reason, I need a stable system. My harddisk doesn't have enough space to make an extra partition to try 7.10. Soon I will get SPSS for Linux, and then I will be able to remove my dual boot Windows and make a test partition for Xubuntu. Right now I am of no help to you, sorry. Greetings, Thomas.
