For each of the packages for which you're proposing to do a major version bump, please could you explain what the situation is for existing users of that package on Bionic? Could there be users of these packages who are happily using them but will find the rug pulled out under their feet due to functionality or behaviour changes? What's the situation with the reverse dependencies of the packages you're proposing to update?
