Given the options shown in firmware and switching to AHCI fixes things
as per xnox's comments; this is squarely a "kernel" issue -- one we
can't really fix in ubiquity in any case.

The kernel side, to support this new RAID or "Intel RST" mode comes with
its own set of problems, but I'll let the kernel team deal with that.
It's complicated.
