Public bug reported: Hi developers,I'm facing a problem of inverted or flipped screen. At first it flipped to 180 degree and after researching i got a solution but this solution is not permanent and now it flips to 90 degree.
I even tried orientation applet locked it too but it does not matter screen still flips on its own. I want you to know that my laptop stays on table all the time, no movement at all but screen flips itself . It also happens even when I'm watching videos. I even asked about this on ask ubuntu forums and someone gave me idea of letting you guys know because developers know better. So in short, I constantly need to use terminal command to switch it back to normal and the command I use I think I should mention it too so here it is: < xrandr -o normal > i'm using Ubuntu Budgie 18.04.2 LTS 64-bit Hp laptop Intel processor Core i5 3rd generation ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 18.04 Package: mutter (not installed) ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.18.0-17.18~18.04.1-generic 4.18.20 Uname: Linux 4.18.0-17-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.9-0ubuntu7.6 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: Budgie:GNOME Date: Fri Apr 12 19:08:23 2019 InstallationDate: Installed on 2019-04-08 (3 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu-Budgie 18.04.2 LTS "Bionic Beaver" - Release amd64 (20190210) SourcePackage: mutter UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: mutter (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug bionic -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1824541 Title: screen flips itself To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mutter/+bug/1824541/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
