Public bug reported: I cannot boot from a USB live system with Disco Dingo 19.04 to install Ubuntu. I tried several kernel command line options (nomodeset modprobe.blacklist=nouveau) but nothing seems to work.
With acpi=off I can see some output. The boot sequence stops at "Freeing unused kernel image memory". Before, there are some UEFI error messages (Couldn't get UEFI db list, dbx list). I attached a photo of the output. I don't get these errors with 18.10. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Incomplete ** Tags: disco ** Attachment added: "Kernel output" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1826065/+attachment/5258366/+files/IMG_20190420_142731.jpg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1826065 Title: Can't boot from usb live system to install disco dingo 19.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1826065/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
