Ok, it did recognize the drives and the controller but it just didn't format correctly my partition on the sata drive. it just stood at 0% for hours (!!) and then I did reboot. (it did write correctly the partition table).
I should say that this controller is pretty weird ;-) I hope that we'll see something good in Hardy... at least I hope so! Anyway, when hardy will get a new kernel I'll try there.
