Public bug reported:

I deleted the pre-installed Win 10 and did a fresh install of Ubuntu
18.04 in my Asus Zenbook UX333FN laptop last month. There has been no
sound since then through the speakers or headphones. There was sound in
Win 10.

The Ubuntu release is

The output of 'cat /proc/version_signature' is :
Ubuntu 4.18.0-20.21~18.04.1-generic 4.18.20
