Public bug reported:

I have dual-booted Ubuntu and Windows and I don't have sound at all.
Before when restart laptop sound back shortly but if I boot it again
there is no sound anymore. Interesting, when type alsamixer I get cannot
open mixer: No such file or directory. I'm noticing that I have
installed driver. Sound sometimes works sometimes not
