I managed to mount the root volume from the kernel 5 boot fail busybox by explicitly adding the correct device=/dev/sdXY names to the btrfs mount options. After this one time manual mount, kernel 5 seems to boot fine now. Seems like the kernel 5 btrfs driver "fixed" whatever it had trouble with.
Can't verify if kernel 5.2 would have fixed the problem automatically though.. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1831020 Title: BTRS Raid boot failure To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1831020/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
