I wish it was a mode issue. My phone is the Sony Ericsson k610i, which
is detected by the system on /dev/ttyACM0 as seen in the dmesg output:

[48276.013120] usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 11
[48276.300829] usb 2-1: configuration #3 chosen from 1 choice
[48276.316787] cdc_acm 2-1:3.1: ttyACM0: USB ACM device
[48276.333817] cdc_acm 2-1:3.3: ttyACM1: USB ACM device
[48276.373747] usb0: register 'cdc_ether' at usb-0000:00:03.1-1, CDC Ethernet
Device, 02:80:37:0d:03:00

This device works well under kmobiletools, as well as under wammu.

The device is connected via usb cable, and I have selected the "IRMC
Mobile Device" option, with the "Other device" option inside.

Pressing the "Test connection..." button says "connection failed" after
a quick moment.

When exiting the settings window, the command prompt produces the
following code:

[evo2-sync] DEBUG: start: sync_connect
[evo2-sync] INFORMATION: Loading state from file
/home/user/.multisync/1/remotesettings
[evo2-sync] WARNING: File /home/user/.multisync/1/remotesettings does not exist
[evo2-sync] DEBUG: end: sync_connect

Please, please, please advise.

Thanks,
Dotan
