Public bug reported: man 7 sched says: If autogrouping is disabled, then the root task group consists of all processes in the root CPU cgroup.
In the meantime, no matter the autogrouping disablements cat /proc/*/autogroup Still shows processes being classified. Can anyone sched some light on this discrepancy: a) the autogrouping cannot be disabled b) even disabled there is unnecessary process classification taking place ** Affects: kernel-package (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1834651 Title: cannot completely disable sched autogroup To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kernel-package/+bug/1834651/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
