today I've updated the kernel to the current version 4.15.0-54 and ... the screen flickers again (!!!) while the version from https://launchpad.net/~kaihengfeng is working perfectly!!! The differences: current kernel 4.15.0-54: radeon.ko version: 2.50.0; module-size: 2342342 kaihengfeng kernel 4.15.0-52 unsigned: radeon.ko version: 2.50.0; module-size: 2343086 So the module in 4.15.0-54 seems NOT to be the same as that one corrected by Paul Dufresne / Kai-Heng Feng. And: wouldn't it be a good idea to change the radeon.ko version-number too to identify the different versions?
