I went to try again and get the log ... and with today's build it is working. Let me try on the other machine that I was seeing this with and then I will close the bug.
(The one thing I noticed is that I needed to restart the computer before it worked, while I could swear it used to work as soon as the driver was installed, and so also in a live session.
