Public bug reported: Although gnochm is a viewer for GNOME, kchmviewer is a viewer for KDE, and xchm is a generic viewer for X, double clicking on a chm file pops up a dialog box stating that there is no application suitable for automatic installation.
It would be nice that, depending on distribution/desktop used, the most appropriate viewer would be automatically installed instead. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- chm files have no suitable application for automatic installation https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/164318 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
