Thanks, I've installed that firmware update and will give it a try. As I expected, disabling bluetooth in BIOS didn't resolve the issue. Apparently in the Dell XPS 13 9730 the wifi card is soldered to the motherboard, so replacing it is sadly not an option.
I'm also keeping an eye on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1799988 which seems relevant at least to my case. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1828578 Title: dell xps 9570 killer wifi reconnection issue followed by freeze + Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1828578/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
