Thats the bug! Using 2.2.6-3 seems to be an OK workaround for now. If the box has a GUI it is pretty easy to fix in synaptic. First, add the feisty universe repository (I edit /etc/apt/sources) then in synaptic find ncpfs. Use "Package-Force version" and "Package-Lock Version" to make sure you use 2.2.6-3.
