I tried reproducing this with 2.39.2+18.04 on 18.04 by setting the following as root:
#!/bin/bash export LANG=en_US.UTF-8 export LC_ADDRESS=ru_RU.UTF-8 export LC_IDENTIFICATION=ru_RU.UTF-8 export LC_MEASUREMENT=ru_RU.UTF-8 export LC_MONETARY=ru_RU.UTF-8 export LC_NAME=ru_RU.UTF-8 export LC_NUMERIC=ru_RU.UTF-8 export LC_PAPER=ru_RU.UTF-8 export LC_TELEPHONE=ru_RU.UTF-8 export LC_TIME=ru_RU.UTF-8 then executing $ snap install skype --classic However this installed ok. I am also able to execute Skype as a regular user. @Dennis Can you please confirm this is still a current issue ? If so, do you happen to know of a way to replicate this with out setting my entire system to Russian ? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1811534 Title: snap - install skype warning - main.go: should be wrapped in (i18n) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/snappy/+bug/1811534/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
