Frankly speaking, I don't understand the use of doing so much debugging, when s2ram solves the issue perfectly. Suspend/resume works out of box on suse here, because it uses s2ram. (-p -m are the required options on my laptop) - http://suspend.sourceforge.net/ Also, I think from hardy onwards this issue will be solved, because ubuntu will migrate to hal/pm-suspend infrastructure. Even there, most machines are supported out of box - http://people.freedesktop.org/~hughsient/quirk/quirk-suspend-index.html
Ubuntu IMHO is just trying to over-complicate things by using acpi- support and what not ! -- System unusable after resume from suspend or hibernate [i945] https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/133677 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
