Thanks for confirming this. I think that one computer piece doesn't work. Maybe you can try to find that piece ( it can be your old 56k modem card, your audio card, your floppy disk reader, your CD burner. If you find something that doesn't work on your computer, most probably that it is the bad part that make your BIOS wait 1-2 minutes at each boot.
