Hi, this package was buggy and unmaintained for quite a while already. Due to that it was removed from the Archive after Bionic in Debain and Ubuntu.

Due to that the error is correctly "confirmed", but I doubt anyone will do something about it. You can - if you want - start the effort to fix it up yourself and propose changes to the SRU [1] request, but other than that I'd not expect much to happen.
