Maybe error in DRM i915 by intel causes this weird behaviour.

Put my laptop into standby, decouple from docking station, 6 hours later
wake up and user session destroyed.

Maybe it is this bug?
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1802578

I see "kernel: [drm:intel_display_resume [i915]] *ERROR* Restoring old
state failed with -22", too.
