I just booted a QA-install of Xubuntu 18.04.3 LTS (final release- candidate) and updated it, added `lubuntu-desktop` and `sddm` (sddm made default). I used `adduser` to create another user, and rebooted.
At the sddm greeter, I could use mouse to pick my 'guiverc' user, 'qa- user' or newly created 'garfield' user. (a xubuntu post-install QA-test had me create 'qa-user' which is why it existed; I'd forgotten it was there) Because my base was Xubuntu 18.04.3 (x86), my system will have different packages, but it was a fresh un-used system so is pretty clean (created only for QA-test purposes pre-18.04.3 release). I could not re-create this issue at all. (I used x86, as `sddm` pulls in a lot of KDE/Qt packages and didn't want to do it on a x86_64 system I use for other things). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1845745 Title: Cannot change login user for SDDM To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sddm/+bug/1845745/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
