Public bug reported: When installing xubuntu, we see a "Release Notes" link on the first page (page with "Try Ubuntu" and "Install Ubuntu"). When that link is clicked, the user is taken to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/19.10/ReleaseNotes, which redirects you to: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/EESeries/ReleaseNotes. Both links are nonexistent and say you can create this page.
When the user clicks the "Release Notes" link, they should end up at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/EoanErmine/ReleaseNotes ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 19.10 Package: ubiquity-slideshow-xubuntu (not installed) ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 5.3.0-18.19-generic 5.3.1 Uname: Linux 5.3.0-18-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.11-0ubuntu8 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: XFCE Date: Thu Oct 17 10:15:02 2019 InstallationDate: Installed on 2019-10-17 (0 days ago) InstallationMedia: Xubuntu 19.10 "Eoan Ermine" - Release amd64 (20191017) SourcePackage: ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug eoan -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1848542 Title: Release Notes on first page of installer takes user to wrong page To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu/+bug/1848542/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
