My VLC 0.8.6 (wxWidgets Interface) crashes in situations which are probably due to exact the same bug: 1. start playin any mp3-file. 2. open and activate the qualizer. 3. perform some changes in different ferquency-bands with your mouse. while doing that the program crashes immediately. especially limiting down some frequency bands seems to force the crash.
