xev shows duplicate buttonpress and duplicate buttonrelease events. the bug is caused by two "InputDevice" entries in /etc/X11/xorg.conf, both using "Device" "/dev/input/mice" and both are used in [ServerLayout]. one as the Core Input Device and the other with "SendCoreEvents".
