I run a short test :
root@m3545034:~# lsmem --v
lsmem from util-linux 2.34
root@m3545034:~# lsmem -V
lsmem from util-linux 2.34
root@m3545034:~# lsmem -v
lsmem: invalid option -- 'v'
Try 'lsmem --help' for more information.

Can the testcase be changed to --v ?
or is there a need for an upstream change in util-linux ?
