more in detail: kgpg (editor component) crashes every time after entering the pass phrase. Not only during signing and verifying, also during encryption (perhaps every time a mantra has to be typed). But only if the pass phrase was correct, else kgpg asks again. I only observed this behaviour in KDE 3.5.4 packages (4:3.5.4-0ubuntu1~dapper1), and as far as I remember, in previous dapper versions everything worked as expected (relevant gnupg version: 1.4.2.2-1ubuntu2.2).
