Thanks. It looks like the problem is indeed coming from the hardware, or the kernel:

Then only a few milliseconds later the right button was released. Much later (a tenth of a second) the left button was released. So yeah it looks like only the left button was a real click from a human :) It looks like a faulty mouse, sorry. Maybe the buttons get physically stuck together sometimes and can just be cleaned out somehow? ** Package changed: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) => linux (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1850627 Title: Right click happens automatically, disturbs work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1850627/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
