Hi!

I'm trying to install Ubuntu Gusty Gibbon in my laptop ACER Aspire 1694
with the following hardware specifications:

.- Intel Pentium M processor 760 (2.0 GHz, 533 MhZ fsb, 2 MB L2 cache)
.- ATI Mobility Radeon X700 PCI Express wit 128 MB VRAM

When I start it once it is installed it throws this error:

Nov 26 13:29:25 milana-laptop kernel: [ 13.599543] PCI: Using ACPI for IRQ
routing
Nov 26 13:29:25 milana-laptop kernel: [ 13.599545] PCI: If a device doesn't
work, try "pci=routeirq". If it helps, post a report

After that the screen goes completely black and I have to enter to tty in order
to initializing the OS.
When I enter to tty1 the OS deployment starts automatically and GDM and X
finally appears.
If tried to boot with the options pci=routeirq and apci=off but it didn't work.

I have to proceed by this way every time I try to open my laptop (I only
have Ubuntu 7.10 installed in it).
