Just ran a "sudo apt update" followed by "sudo apt list --upgradable" ...
chromium-browser/xenial-updates 78.0.3904.70-0ubuntu0.16.04.2 amd64 [upgradable from: 77.0.3865.120-0ubuntu1~snap1] So, it seems that upstream has reverted to an DPKG instead of snap. $ $ snap list Name Version Rev Tracking Publisher Notes chromium 78.0.3904.97 937 stable canonical* - Using the snap version [Version 78.0.3904.97 (Official Build) snap (64-bit)], I continue to get the DNS error. However, on using the installed DPKG version [Version 78.0.3904.70 (Official Build) Built on Ubuntu , running on Ubuntu 19.10 (64-bit)], DNS works fine. So, this is an issue with how the SNAP packaging works. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1850893 Title: chromium-browser does not resolve any names To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium-browser/+bug/1850893/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
