I feel I'm totally lost in the context. >From the bug description it says "Missing file is iwlwifi-9000-pu-bo-jf- bo-46.ucode", which has been landed in linux-firmware/bionic in bug 1852512 and will be released soon.
Then BinLi is asking for SRU "iwlwifi-9000-pu-b0-jf-b0-43.ucode", which has been there since version 1.173.9. Could you have an update to the latest linux-firmware version, and have a check if WiFi is still not functioning? Please also check https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates for SRU criteria and procedure for more info. ** Also affects: linux-firmware (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** No longer affects: linux (Ubuntu) ** No longer affects: linux-meta-oem (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: linux-firmware (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1851230 Title: missing firmware files from oem image To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-firmware/+bug/1851230/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
