Public bug reported: The Sony Dualshock 4 controller used to work fine in Ubuntu, both when connected via wire and bluetooth. However, after upgrading from Ubuntu 19.04 to 19.10, the controller is no longer working via bluetooth. Wired USB connection does still work. Bluetooth pairing works, but no joystick device is found. The mousepad on the controller is not working either. dmesg shows:

I would be happy if it made its way to Ubuntu.
