Hi Kai-Heng, Sorry, I don't know how to build kernels from commit, and didn't have time to play with that. Today I installed 5.0.0-15-generic, and system is able to see my HDMI sound output device. Found this solution here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1834771
Do you still need to test those commits? If yes, could you please add steps on how to build them or build them for me, so I can install them? I can also follow bug #1834771.
