Public bug reported:

I was rotating a layer and changing the preview opacity by clicking with the 
mouse. I was working on a relatively big image at 300dpi. 
Every time I rotate the layer it crashed if the preview opacity is below than 
100%. But it don't crash if the (preview) opacity is 100% or the preview is off.
The error is persistent.

I'm on kubuntu 19.04 with 6gb of ram. Intel Core i3 processor. Nvidia
Gforce GT 610.
