The problem is gamemode is installed as a system service and it can't
start.

On Ubuntu 19.10 eon
Gamemode version 1.5-dev
gamemode_1.5~git20190722.4ecac89-1build3_amd64.deb
I reinstall and get
Job for gamemoded.service failed because the control process exited with error c
ode.
