I can confirm the bug for a fresh dapper installation (as of 21-sep-2006) with the version of a2ps from 25-sep-2006 (4.13b.dfsg.1-0.1) I've worked around the problem by changing -d to -P in the a2ps-lpr-wrapper script, but a proper fix to a2ps would be most welcome. Attached is the modified a2ps-lpr-wrapper script for those who need it in the mean time.
