Public bug reported: Binary package hint: adept-updater
Adept updater tells me another process is using the database. This is what apt-get update tells me: E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem. Not only did the updater lie to me, but it seems it could have taken the steps to try and correct the problem: dpkg --configure -a !!! adept_manager has a different error message, but is also missing the point (same library?). Also: same problem when apt-get -f install needs to be run. There should be something to help the user sort out problems!!! ** Affects: adept (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- Mismatched db being locked and dpkg having been interrupted https://launchpad.net/bugs/62292 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
