Hello, I'm the original bug submitter right now I'm not on ubuntu on this box. Thanks to other posters stepping in the bug is not fixed with ubuntu. I end up using: iwconfig interfacename essid channel 6 mode managed key soso open so on arguments. Then I must do ifdown interface and ifup interface again. partially configuring within gnome, partially configuring within the command line. Every time, so it does not truly work but the card does work so to speak.
