Public bug reported: Running Ubuntu 16.04.6 with both Unity & Cinnamon installed. When opening Cinnamon's settings, every time I click on the power management section, the window closes. Running cinnamon-settings from the command- line outputs the following:
Could not find bluetooth module; is the cinnamon-control-center package installed? __init__ took 87.113 ms Loading Power module Segmentation fault (core dumped) Is cinnamon-control-center missing a dependency? Is there a specific bluetooth package that I need to manually install? Is this just a conflict with Unity that I have to learn to live with? I'd really like to configure my power settings with respect to monitor shutoff timing when idle, but I can't seem to do that from within Cinnamon. ** Affects: cinnamon-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1860181 Title: Cinnamon power preferences crashes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cinnamon-control-center/+bug/1860181/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
