Public bug reported: Binary package hint: apt-cacher
apt-cacher MAN uses and example of a mirror with ftp: "http://apt-cacher.server:3142/ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/stable/Release"; But (currently) apt-cacher doesnt support FTP (see #172809).
