Ok, thanks for reading this. I would like to point out that it doesn't happen when trying to install a few other distro's, like vanilla Ubuntu or Fedora. I have checked the integrity of the USB flash drive, and all seems well there, and I have also checked the integrity of my drive that I am installing to (works fine of course, and have check nvnme-cli just to read some of the stats). The only thing that I would think that it would be, is that the ISO is bad somehow... but I actually re-downloaded it when I did, because of this same error, thinking that downloading a new iso would work.
This same error occurs when I try to install KDE Neon, Kubuntu and Xubuntu, but not vanilla Ubuntu. Just to get the ISO out of the question, I will download a new one, using torrents and retry, and then come back. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1861537 Title: installer crashes when it is "creating partitions" or "calculating files to skip copying" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1861537/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
