I was performing a clean install using a custom disk setup, with a btfs
root where I had backed up and removed the "@" subvol, and kept the
existing "@home".

Tried two times, installer always crashed.

Maybe unrelated, but after restoring the old "@" and rebooting, grub
picked the new (5.4.0) kernel, and that failed to boot because it
couldn't find LVM.

Rebooting with the kernel from eaon worked.
