Public bug reported: I tried to install the latest version of Ubuntu Studio from an USB drive. It failed near the end with a fatal error and without me having any hint on what to do for a corrective action. I would expect to have a check or an option before going for the whole installation step to find out there is a problem
PS There is another not-so-small issue I noticed: when using an empty partition, on a system that has Windows 7 already installed and several more partitions, I need to manually create the swap, EFI and the main root partition for Ubuntu installation. The other options seem to radical - eg cleaning up a whole disk. It would be nice for the installer to take care of this step by proposing some defaults for the most users, or customization for special needs. Thank you!
