An interesting and maybe useful thing I found when I log out and back in again, it comes up in a very much different resolution, though the settings say it is 1920x1080. See the screenshot (not cropped).
So when I went to make changes back to what I prefer, I found the 200% was on. It wasn't at 200% before I relogged in. I'll keep you posted.
