Public bug reported:

Somewhere in the package, the package name is mistakenly entered as
"org.gnome.Calendar." instead of "org.gnome.Calendar" which brings
problems like no icon because there is no affiliated icon name in
system.

Here are a example of some bad files:

    /usr/share/applications/org.gnome.Calendar..desktop
    /usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.gnome.Calendar..service

/usr/share/gnome-shell/search-providers/org.gnome.Calendar..search-provider.ini
    /usr/share/metainfo/org.gnome.Calendar..appdata.xml
