David, Sorry to pester you. I've amended the /boot/config-2.6.22-14-generic file to show CONFIG_BLK_DEV_SIS5513=m. however, there is no sis5513.ko file in /lib/modules/2.6.22-14-generic/kernel/drivers/ide/pci/ so I copied the one from 2.6.20-16-generic. However, dmesg of sis5513 disagrees ... symbol structure table. I have tried googling etc to find correct version of sis5513.ko. Do you have it or can you point me to it?
