An issue even in March 2020. I tried Ubuntu 18.04, and Ubuntu 19.10. I'm on a Macbook Pro. If I switch to channel 40, 44, 48 works. But if I move to channel 149, 153, 157, etc. it stops getting detected.
And as you may understand, the speed that I get on channel 40/44/48 is quite slower compared to what I can get on 149.
