Also the breaking changes are lessened support for old python2,
increased support for python3, and that's entirely conducive to 20.20's
python objectives, even if the item in question is not actually shipping
for us.

There appears to be one technical fix to STARTTLS support, the rest of
the bug fixes are to documentation.  No new features are added.

The inclusion of our dep8 test upstream is great, and indeed does allow
this to become a sync.

All in all, looks good to me, +1 to sync, and I will do so directly.
