I'm running 20.04 with all updates chosen, this error appears every update session. I did try to file a bug with ubuntu-bug after watching Alan's excellent video but i thought it was update-manager a.k.a. Software Updater (confusing that there's two names) that was the culprit, sorry :( and im not quite sure if it got sent through as I didnt get the later pages of the launchpad process shown as the video did it just stopped. Sorry this isnt much use, but I just wanted to try and do my bit to help.
